Refund Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to paid CloudNexs products and services that expressly link to this policy.
A specific product, plan, order, or checkout page may contain additional refund or cancellation terms. Those specific purchase terms apply to that transaction where they provide more specific information, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Unless a longer period is required by applicable law or stated in product-specific purchase terms, a request for a discretionary refund should generally be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the relevant charge. A request made within seven calendar days does not automatically qualify for a refund.
1. General Principle
CloudNexs wants charges to correspond to services that were actually ordered and capable of being provided.
Refund eligibility depends on:
- the type of product;
- whether the service was used;
- whether credits were consumed;
- whether a job or transaction completed;
- whether a CloudNexs technical failure prevented delivery;
- whether a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred;
- the applicable purchase terms;
- applicable law.
2. Free and Trial Services
Free services, free previews, evaluation access, and trial usage do not involve a paid charge and therefore do not create a monetary refund.
Expiration or termination of free access does not create a refund entitlement.
3. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
A refund or payment correction may be available when:
- the same transaction was charged more than once;
- CloudNexs or its payment provider charged an amount different from the amount displayed and accepted at checkout;
- a confirmed billing error occurred.
Contact support as soon as reasonably possible with the transaction information needed to investigate the charge.
4. Service Failure Caused by CloudNexs
CloudNexs may approve a refund, credit restoration, rerun, replacement service, or other appropriate remedy when:
- a paid service could not start because of a confirmed CloudNexs technical failure;
- a paid service failed before meaningful processing occurred because of a confirmed CloudNexs platform problem;
- a paid feature was materially unavailable because of a confirmed CloudNexs error;
- the same service cannot reasonably be restored or rerun.
The appropriate remedy may depend on the affected product.
Where the service can be completed by restoring consumed credits, rerunning the job, or providing the originally purchased functionality, CloudNexs may offer that remedy instead of a cash refund where permitted.
5. Completed or Consumed Services
Except where required by law or where CloudNexs confirms a qualifying service failure, refunds are generally not provided for:
- completed services;
- completed processing jobs;
- completed reports;
- consumed usage;
- consumed credits;
- successfully delivered digital results;
- services that were materially used before the refund request.
A result that contains warnings, failures, defects, unfavorable findings, or information the user did not expect does not by itself mean the CloudNexs service failed.
6. User-Side Errors
Refunds may be denied when the paid service could not produce the desired result because of circumstances attributable to the user's input or environment, including:
- submitting the wrong file;
- submitting unsupported content;
- submitting damaged or invalid input;
- providing incorrect configuration;
- failing to follow stated requirements;
- losing access because of user-controlled credentials;
- submitting content the user was not authorized to process.
Where practical, CloudNexs may provide troubleshooting, corrected processing, or another remedy at its discretion.
7. Product Findings Are Not a Refund Basis
A CloudNexs product may identify:
- errors;
- warnings;
- failures;
- risks;
- incompatible behavior;
- low scores;
- unsuccessful validation;
- other unfavorable results.
Such findings are part of the service when the product is designed to detect or report them.
An unfavorable result does not make the service refundable merely because the user expected a passing or positive result.
8. Subscriptions
If a CloudNexs product offers subscriptions:
- cancellation stops future renewals according to the applicable subscription terms;
- cancellation does not automatically refund a prior billing period;
- access may continue through the already-paid period if the applicable plan permits;
- refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Any product-specific subscription cancellation terms shown at purchase or in account settings also apply.
9. Credits and Usage Balances
If a product uses prepaid credits or usage balances:
- credits that have been consumed by completed or materially initiated services are generally not refundable;
- credits restored because of a confirmed CloudNexs processing failure are not considered a cash refund;
- treatment of unused credits may depend on the plan or purchase terms shown at checkout;
- promotional, bonus, test, or complimentary credits have no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Abuse and Policy Violations
CloudNexs may deny refunds, to the extent permitted by law, for charges associated with activity that materially violates:
- the Terms of Service;
- the Acceptable Use Policy;
- law;
- third-party rights;
- security restrictions.
Examples include malicious uploads, fraudulent activity, unauthorized testing, abuse of infrastructure, or deliberate attempts to evade limits.
This does not affect refund rights that applicable law requires CloudNexs to provide.
11. Third-Party Payment Providers
Payments and refunds may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal, or other providers made available by CloudNexs. Payment-provider terms, card-network rules, banks, and local payment systems may affect processing.
After CloudNexs approves a refund, the time required for funds to appear may depend on:
- the payment provider;
- card network;
- financial institution;
- payment method;
- country.
CloudNexs does not control bank or card-network processing times.
12. Taxes, Fees, and Currency Conversion
The amount returned in an approved refund may be affected by applicable law and by payment-provider rules regarding:
- taxes;
- currency conversion;
- bank charges;
- payment processing;
- other third-party fees.
CloudNexs will not intentionally withhold amounts that applicable law requires to be refunded.
13. How to Request a Refund
Send the request to:
support@cloudnexs.com
Include, where available:
- account email;
- product or service name;
- payment date;
- order, invoice, or transaction ID;
- amount charged;
- reason for the request;
- relevant project, job, test, report, or transaction identifier;
- screenshots or evidence that may help investigate the issue.
CloudNexs may request additional information reasonably required to verify the transaction and evaluate the request.
14. Review of Requests
CloudNexs will review refund requests based on:
- payment records;
- service records;
- system logs where appropriate;
- product status;
- whether a qualifying failure occurred;
- whether the service was consumed;
- applicable terms;
- applicable law.
Approval or denial will be communicated using the available account or contact information.
15. Chargebacks
If you believe a CloudNexs charge is incorrect, contact support before initiating a chargeback where practical so that we can investigate the transaction.
CloudNexs may provide transaction and service records to payment providers, banks, or card networks when responding to a chargeback or payment dispute.
Nothing in this section limits a legal right to dispute a charge.
16. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits cancellation, refund, chargeback, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
17. Changes to This Refund Policy
CloudNexs may update this policy as products, payment methods, and commercial models change.
The version applicable to a transaction will be determined by the policy and purchase terms in effect as required by applicable law.
